Leadership

Needing an online presence in legal education, Glenn was the first Director of Online Education and led the strategic direction in-house to meet the college’s forward-looking pedagogical vision for education. Choosing Desire2Learn as the learning platform, he successfully delivered on the mission to leverage the power of technology platforms to connect world-class faculty to a world of learners.
Digital Strategy
American University | The Washington College of Law

Working closely with academic offices and faculty, the college expanded its in-person offerings with new online programs. Certificate and for-credit courses featured highly produced, self-paced content with some blended with live instructors.

Within a short period, students attended from over 40 countries, with some in surprising places.
Program Development

To position the Academy on Human Rights for growth and scalability, the school launched a hybrid LL.M. in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, the first of its kind in the U.S. Offered in English and Spanish, this robust degreed program graduated human rights lawyers from around the world.

It was recognized as a Top 25 LL.M experience by The International Jurist in 2018.
Project Management

Overseeing the complete learning design workflow, Glenn successfully engaged the academic and creative enterprises of eCornell to deliver rich online programs using Canvas®.

Serving as a bridge between the faculty and the Creative Services Group, animations are strategically added to faculty lectures. Students can digest legal concepts and terms through visual means.

The ability to collaborate and consult with world-class faculty is critical to translating complex subject matter into engaging and robust digital courses.

From content outlining, course asset creation, to video recording, world-class learning is available to a world of learners.
Instructional Design

As a consultant to eCornell, Glenn was responsible for the complete development cycle of assigned Cornell Tech programs. Using Canvas and a range of Web 2.0 technologies, he oversaw the design and development process partnering with faculty, video professionals, artists, graphic designers, and quality assurance. Learning assets and course projects were tightly integrated into asynchronous programs.

A Learning Management System is a blank canvas from which to deliver compelling courses. Knowing how to work closely with Subject Matter Experts and translate material into instructionally sound content is a strength honed over a career.

With a need for NGA College instructors to teach via distance learning, Glenn developed an instructor training program for its faculty.

NGA instructors were provided the training and the ins and outs of hybrid instructor teaching.
